Today: And His Name is Wisdom…
I was at my desk, swatting, how on earth was I supposed to do this?
The year was 2002 and I was working in one of my early jobs as a receptionist/administrative assistant. I had just been told to post the job of the PA’s (Personal Assistant) to the General Manager on a job-site. I had never done this and I was getting into a small panic. There were all kinds of questions there, HTML what on earth is that?? Why does nothing happen when I click this button….? LORD HELP!
Then there was this still small voice, click here, and now here, now here, go back, write here…. Within 30 minutes I had finished the job! Wow!! Thank you Lord!
This is how I learned that God is not alone our ever present help in time of need (psalms 46:1), but He knows everything. We often have the notion that God only knows “Bible” things… hahahah even I myself see the foolishness as I am writing this. You see, He created us (yes Darwin was WRONG!), so why would he not know these things made by men?
This triggered chain of subsequent actions, my boss (who was all of a sudden without a PA, because she had just stormed out of the door in a full rage), just got the “idea” to invite me up. He was literally 1 floor above me. He said, you have been the assistant to my PA and you have been managing the reception, so you know what her tasks are. Are you willing to them, we will then search for an assistant for you? It flashed through my mind, I did not know how to post a job online and now you are asking me to do my managers job? Immediately I was reminded of what happened when I was posting the job, how the Lord gave me the knowledge and guidance to complete the task. I gave a full confided YES! Well as they say the rest is history, I grew in my role as a PA, had some training's and coaching’s along the way and I have been doing this kind of job now for over 30 years, with great pleasure and whit my whole heart! I am a “control freak”, well organized and the “PA” behind the man(ager)!
You see HE is not called Wisdom for nothing! He knows the end from the beginning, He knows when to show you what, how and when. The definition of wisdom = correctly applied knowledge!
How do you know if the knowledge you have about something is correct? How do you know if you are applying it correctly? These are legitimate questions, which the Lord helps answering. You see when you operate under (divine) wisdom, you are elevated, encouraged, protected, a help to others and blessed! Things will work in your favor not just at the moment itself, but also long term.
This small testimony (to me a BIG one), has kept me throughout the years and made me to have confidence to embark on new adventures and not shy away from challenges. At this moment I have embarked on some new adventures as well and the Lord again is taking me step by step through the learning curve. You see the desire to be financially independent (from a salary NOT the Lord that is never possible nor desirable), has been brewing for so many years and it is finally scheduled on the diary of my lifetime. It is necessary for me to have a passive income that is built through an online business so it will enable me to have the time, location and financial freedom so that I can be of assistance according to the scriptures.
I am allowed to receive training from Legendary Marketers (and again) they also train by giving you guidance step by step and showing you by elaborate video’s how to choose your line of business, setup your business and/or expand your existing business. You see the Lord knows how to train me, where to supply it from and when it is the correct timing to do so. I am becoming 50 this month and thoughts of retirement have been popping up in my mind for the last 3 years more and more. I always wanted to be able to retire at 50… well I am a bit behind, but according to the Lord right on schedule. There is a lot to learn if you want to go into business and you need the guidance and wisdom of the Lord, so you establish something that is endorsed by heaven and will be there for the long haul.
What amazes me (coming from a mindset that states: it is better to shy away from money, because we don’t want to be enticed by it and pierce ourselves with all kinds of trouble 1 Timothy 6:10), is that actually 99,999999% is coming from Bible principles and that God is just as interested in us being wealthy as being healthy! 3 John 2.
Like I said I have a lot to learn and the Lord is teaching me, and it worked I just received my first payment! (learn how) He just used all that is in His power to do so, and as he HAS ALL POWER, he is willing and MORE THAN ABLE! Hallelujah for me!!
So let me encourage you with this:
You’re never too old to learn, to go into a new adventure with the Lord! HE will teach you, guide you and be there for you! He is Wisdom and knows exactly what you need and can handle! All things that you go through are a learning step that will serve you, give you a testimony in the future! Such a small thing that only took a moment compared to a lifetime, has been such an encouragement and proof that with God ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!
Yes my beloved it is also possible for you! That is the first thing you need to tell yourself, convince yourself and believe! God Loves you! God Cares for you! God Guides you! And God Willingly and Freely Gives you WISDOM! That you may know the Lord better, and get all the benefits that come from that.
