When the Word comes quickly

Hello it’s me again - LJ

Today: When The Word comes quickly

Let us establish this first; when we talk about the word, we mean the bible, but when we talk about The Word we talk about Jesus Himself! For in the bible it is written: 1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

I remember the times in the beginning when I had just come to active faith. I am underlining active because in my pre-God-life walk, I had faith that God existed, that is something I never doubted, but I just did not have time for Him, I always used that same phrase back then.

At this moment I am struggling with my story, why you ask? Because I am very concerned about some major bills I need to pay. Throughout the years God has been so faithful, I mean he has brought me back from broken, busted and disgusted to healed, cleansed and favored! And now as I am writing this, this is a reminder for myself of what the Lord has done and that He is able to do ALL things! He is Jehovah Provider, He is the Lord Sabaoth (The Lord who fights our battles), He is Jehovah Jireh, He owns the cattle upon a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and HE WILL SUPPLY ALL OUR NEEDS ACCORDING THROUGH HIS RICHES IN GLORY IN CHRIST JESUS! (Philippians 4:19)

You see when we need encouragement, boost of faith etc. He does not do it the way we humans do it. We would be singing our own praises, or looking for others that will be telling us how miserable we are, how unfair it is that it happened to us… NOT our God he has a funny way of doing things. He lets us encourage, support or comfort someone ells. Now while we are doing that and concentrating on the need of the other, when we finish, we discover that our own need has been taken care of, anxiety has gone, we can see way again and discouragement has taken a flight. Yes anxiety, discouragement are spirits… and they can either be welcomed in or they can be kicked out the door! Actually I should say they can be refused at the door, for Jesus finished work on the cross gave us the authority over them, so these foul spirits cannot do anything without our permission / cooperation. Read Ephesians 6: 1-18!

These spirits CANNOT COME IN UNLESS we let them come in by sinning, our conduct or behavior towards others (this last one starts in our hearts and mindset) or when we do not repent about them and draw closer to God. You see when we constantly think of Jesus and live to please him, naturally we will not do the things I just mentioned, or when they happen we quickly go back to Jesus and repent and ask for cleansing, and therefore do not give a foot to the enemy of our souls. So we don’t concentrate on the enemy but on God and His finished work!

So I remember when I was in need of money to eat. I had just paid my tithe (I will come back to this in a bit), fueled my car with the last petrol and now I had no money to buy the kids food.

I was in the church that Sunday, not knowing how to go about it on Monday... we had a wonderful service I cried, in my heart, when the offering came for I wanted to give, but well my wallet was empty. I understood the principle of giving and I loved God, so I wanted Him to be happy with me when he saw me acting upon my faith and putting something (no matter how small) in the offering, but I did not have.

The service had ended and I remember that somewhere during the service I said in my heart God, you can supply all needs (Philippians 4:19) and your word says jet while we speak You will answer….(Isaiah 65:24)

I walked to the door and was trying to collect the children (they liked to run around…..), when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned and there was a sister who quickly put something in my hand and whispered into my ear, the Lord told me to give you this. I was surprised looked into my hand and there was a note of 20 Euro’s. I was dumbfounded! I was happy, crying, love, gratitude happiness all kinds of emotions flooded my heart and mind. I quickly looked up to thank the sister, but she had already gone! I kept on thanking God in my heart!

You see it is so sweet when the Word answers quickly!

I said I will come back about tithing… this is such an elaborate topic that I cannot do it justice in just 2 sentences and I have so many testimonies here, so I will leave it for my next blog, just make sure to check it out here at GPM247!

I also need to mention that in this write up the quickly is the main focus, because there are many times God does NOT answer quickly due to His agenda he has for each individual for example, but also that is for another time.

In closing I want to encourage you with this! When the Word answers quickly KNOW THIS ABOUT THIS SENTENCE:

When: indicates not all the time, but there will be times that it happens!

The Word: = Jesus Himself with all His authority, power, might, love, wisdom, goodness, faithfulness...etc.

Answers: Jesus IS the answer, so he ALWAYS WILL answer (for He cannot be anything else but himself) do NOT doubt it!!!

Quickly: fast, without delay, almost immediately…

So while I am writing this and encouraging you, concentrating on your need! I KNOW THAT GOD WILL DO IT FOR YOU TO!!! And God is working on my behalf and I have renewed faith that He who has until this moment supplied ALL MY NEEDS, will also do it this time. Actually he has already, but I just don’t like to spend all my savings….. You see Trust in God is what gives us peace! Knowing, He who has done it before will do it again! AS SOON AS I can complete this testimony I will let you know… so looking forward in coming back to you about this soon!

God Bless you! – LJ
